Welcome to our book haven, where each page is a step into a fantastic journey and every cover a new friend.
We're passionate about reading, authors, and the bookish community as a whole. The owner, Whitney, is a lifelong bookworm, runs a Facebook group of almost 20k members (Bookish Baddies) along with some of her closest friends, and has been working hand in hand with Authors as a literary editor, Alpha/Beta/ARC & proofreader for the last couple of years. OH, and she’s been a published author since the age of 14. She turned her childhood experiences and pain into art through poetry & was able to reach the hearts of others.
Our goal at bayside books is to be a home away from home for our local community of readers. We strive to be a place where you know our names, are guaranteed to be greeted with a smile, and are able to find something in our store that you love! If we don’t already have books that you love in stock, let us know so that we can fit it. We promise, we will order books specifically for you, if we can.

Delivery Info & Returns
Useful information about delivery and returns
You may choose in store pickup or have your items shipped directly to your doorstep.
We do not accept returns for books. No exceptions. We package everything securely and include plenty of insurance with all of our packages, so we are not responsible for any damage occurred during transit.
Clothing items may be exchanged for another size so long as: the item is still in new condition, tags are attached, item is unworn, & the item has not been washed.
If you are unhappy with any of your items or merchandise that is not due to damage from shipping, please send us a message so that we can help you!
If you do happen to encounter shipping damage we would be happy to help you file your insurance claim!
